Prayer For Day:
Heavenly Father, I ask for forgiveness for bragging and thinking it is my ability that is great. All ability comes from you as well as each breath I take is from you. Help me not to be selfish. In Jesus' name I pray.
Testimony For Day:
Growing up, my parents taught me that no one likes a bragger. This was good natural wisdom that later helped me to do things for God’s eyes only and not to boast about my activities in public. I have made the mistake of bragging and found out later that it caused division between me and my friends who heard me.
Discussion For Day:
Are there any ways that you feel superior to other people base on your education or family background? Does this attitude cause you to judge people different from you? How does God view pride?
